We believe that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence. With that in mind, we at SAPL have worked alongside our website developer to make our website easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities.

ACCESSIBILITY ON OUR WEBSITE

Our website, saplnh.org, employs the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget. Powered by a dedicated accessibility server, the UserWay widget integrates software into our website that offers our users a multitude of accommodation options, improving user experience and enhancing our overall compliance with ADA Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

ENABLING THE ACCESSIBILITY MENU

Example of UserWay buttonThe accessibility tool for our website can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu button that appears on the bottom-left corner of the site. The button is represented by a circle icon with a person in the center like the one pictured here. After triggering the button, simply wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.

Once open, you will have a variety of options including: large text, highlighted links, increased contrast, a large cursor, a reading mask for long pages, and even a dyslexia-friendly font.

DISCLAIMER

Despite our efforts to make all web pages and content accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. In some cases, this may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
